I found Amorita through a blog. The pictures looked great and when you're there, it's even better. Amorita is an "elevated" resort. It's the best resort along Alona beach (exception is the resort beside it which has the same architect as that of Amanpulo).
It has 3 types of accommodation -- ocean villa, garden villa, and deluxe. We are supposed to stay at Garden Villa but managed to be contented with the Deluxe.

Their garden overlooking Alona Beach, Panglao Island
Their elegant pool overlooking Alona Beach
They have excellent customer service from the moment I inquired through email until we checkout. I availed of their Bohol Tourrific Package which included tour with DOT guide, whole body massage for 2, roundtrip airport transfers, and daily buffet breakfast for 2. The first thing I always check at a hotel is their comfort room and shower room and, fortunately, they passed my standards.
They have very nice rooms, quiet but elegant ambiance, and beautifully lansdcaped gardens.
The downside of this resort is their menu. They have very few choices and quite expensive for me but we still availed of it as we found are no interesting food along Alona Beach.
